Unhappy help finding Captive NTFS tool


hello everybody
i have some problem....
i have a laptop...
1 cd burner reader...
a hard disk in NTSF
a computer who crash when windows start...
but i have to save my files!!! before deleting everything!!!
i had download knoppix and i had read about how to use it to save my file with the Captive NTFS tool utilities...
but at this time i had download 3 version of knoppix 3.2, 3.7 and 3.8
but I can<tfind the Captive NTFS tool
on some website they say of the Captive NTFS tool is on start menu,--knoppix---utilities but I DON<<T SEE IT!!!!
welll its the first time i have to use knoppix...
somebody can help a poor little girl to save her computer files...
please!!!

I have knoppix 3.4 and Captive NTFS is ithere under K Menu -> KNOPPIX ->Utilities -> Captive NTFS, but if you still can't see it, open the console and enter the following command
Code:
sudo captive-install-acquire
that should launch the graphical tool.
