Help creating desktop shortcut to Firebird

I just got Firebird downloaded but how do I create a shortcut on my desktop? I was hoping (wink...wink) to just drag it over. Need complete steps.

Thanks.

You said you're using KDE, right?

Right-click on desktop. Select Create New, select Link to Application,
select the Execute tab, browse to the MozillaFirebird location, and
enter that file. Go back to the General tab and type in the name you want
for the application - such as Firebird. Then you can click on the icon and
give it the ball of fire associated with Firebird that's located in the directory
/MozillaFirebird/icons/ - wherever that's located in your comp.

When you said, "I just got Firebird downloaded..." I am assuming
that you also installed it. Did you? If you haven't installed it, then
you need to do that first. If you have installed it, then try this to
find the file.

When you get to the Execute tab following those instructions,
click on the Browse... button out beside the address field, and
that will let you browse to the location.

Where did you install Firebird? If you downloaded it to your
/home/<username> directory, it will probably be here ->
/home/<username>/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird
Whatever your normal user account is should be there in place
of <username>, for instance, maybe it's /home/coop
or whatever.
