Help:Cannot start session[fedora7]

i install fedora 7. installation completed succesfully.
But i cant login [as root & user]. When i enter username and password
i get error that

Code:
cannot start session due to some internal error
when i click OK i get message that

Code:
Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds
If you have not logged out yourself this
could mean that there is some installation
problem or that you may be out of disk space.
Try logging with one of the failsafe session
to see if u can fix this problem

(~/.xsession-errors file)

session_child_run Couldnot exec
 /etc/x11/xinit/xsession default
i installed fedora on
intel P4 2.6GHz
256MB ram
10GB for root partition[reiserfs]
500MB for SWAP

Insert your Fedora cd/dvd.

When login screen comes, press Ctrl+Alt+F1

Login as normal user

Issue the following command

Code:
sudo rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs xorg*
This may solve your problem.

Please google your question. Cause, the solution steps consist of recovery console, mounting etc.
If u have any particular problem like understanding a t.e.r.m; then feel free to ask.
