Welcome to LQ.

1. For the future please use more descriptive titles
2. It's clearly your homework - which we won't do for you.
3. I'm sure you can find some information using google.

Hi and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Sycamorex already answered 1, 2, and 3. The answer to 4 can also be found using Google. If you encounter any problems doing your homework yourself I'm sure the teacher can shed some light in the darkness.

Kind regards,

Eric

It means to step thru a program looking for problems.
Use GDB.
Your title is unhelpful.

We've all heard of Yemen, thanks. Spell out your words, and use decent titles for your questions.

And mostly, do NOT post verbatim homework questions here. You can find the answers to all of these questions on Google, or in your textbooks. We're not going to do your assignments for you.

If this is Linux related, what version/distro of Linux? What file system type?

Per the LQ Rules, please do not post homework assignments verbatim. We're happy to assist if you have specific questions or have hit a stumbling point, however. Let us know what you've already tried and what references you have used (including class notes, books, and Google searches) and we'll do our best to help. Also, keep in mind that your instructor might also be an LQ member.

Please feel free to start a new thread which meets these guidelines.
