help


Firefox3 is possible in ubuntu 6? If ubuntu 8 is installed, what all modifications should be done in network connections for getting internet?

1) Yes, Firefox 3 is possible in Ubuntu 6.

2) None. The default settings work just fine.

Well as long as your system sees your network card then it should pickup a dhcp address. Couple of ways to check is to see
Code:
ifconfig -a
can bring up something like ethX where X is a number. also can you post the output of

lspci
