Help


Could anyone mail me a trial version of linux because I can't download it from sites b/c my internet is too slow but I would like to try it and I also can't pay for it because I am under 18. Anyone wanna help.

you could try looking in a book store. i installed fedora core 1 from CD's borrowed from a friend who had purchased a book called red hat linux bible. i cant remember the price my friend payed but you will also have the benefit of a book giving you detailed instructions on almost every aspect of your new operating system

You do, realize how dangerous this kind of trade can be right? Giving you address away to unknown peoples on the net is really a bad idea. Ask your parents if they are alright with that... I doubt it . If I was you, I'd ask a friend from school or somebody to burn it for you...

Another alternative is to look for some books at your local book store. You may find some handy Linux books which comes with a full Linux distribution. Depending of your country, you may even find some folks on streets who sells Linux for a really low price...
