I too got one of the 'One's. Good machine, but as supplied very restrictive. HOWEVER.......
First thing - get access to a proper desktop.
Get into a terminal - either <alt><f2> or 'Files', 'My Documents', 'Files', 'Terminal'.
Now type <xfce-setting-show><return> (without <> of course)
Select 'Desktop' icon in the window that appears.
On menu that appears click box for <Show desktop menu on Rt click>
Close all windows.
Try Rt clicking on the desktop - should get a menu - but not finished yet, need to set unix password.
Open terminal again, type <sudo passwd>
Type in a suitable password - it will get huffy if you choose something simple, but if you decide to stick to your guns it will work!
Press return, and repeat the password, press return again.
Close everything. Now if you Rt Click on desktop you'll get a useful menu from which to choose. Particularly useful is the <Settings> item, which then offers you all sorts of goodies, install software, fiddle with desktop and lots of other things I haven't played with yet. Best of all, If you wreck the system you can always re-install - the only downside is the time it takes for the on-line update process, but then there's always coffee and biscuits........
Next trick......but play with what you've got a while, in case there's a problem - you don't want to not know when it started if there is!

Search for xfce desktop, print out and follow the instructions. (It's easiest to do this on another machine, 'cos as supplied getting it to print may be hard!
(basically, you're looking for
desktop_switch-0.3.i386.rpm.gz
decompress it with
gunzip desktop.........rpm.gz
Install with
sudo rpm -i desktop.........rpm
You'll find a new icon on the panel, bottom left
