I don't know what you mean by that, possibly because it's Debian specific. Can you post the error messages as they are please (i.e. post the exact text of them here, without modification)?

What are the missing files, what does "packed" mean, did someone install Linux for you and put some files on it?

If someone installed Linux for you, did (s)he just copy the files in there or did they use a package maanger?

pack:to convert a program or group of files into a compressed package before they were unpacked or installed.

Is this "pacakge" a package for a package manager (such as .deb or .rpm) or a simple archive (such as .zip or .tar.gz)

I don't know but like i told you they didn't finish.so maybe what it did pck got self erased.

If thats so.the I'll have to reinstall the whole system.clean it.The problem is that I need to know how.Do you anybody that can help me with this problem.

Download a CD image for the distro you want, burn it, and install.
