HDA1 is full, what now?

Mandrake 10.1

My HDA1 drive is full 100% Thus my system is running very slow, can someone please explain to me how to clean this partition?

Well, if hda1 is mounted at /boot, try deleting one of the old kernels. If it is mounted as /, move files off of /home unless it is mounted on its own partition.

I guess I could make assumptions, but how is your system partitioned?

Well, if hda1 is the only full partition you may be able to move to another partition like a windows FAT, however, if it's all of hda then your only option is removing files or xfer to CD or other storage device. It's a good idea anyway...
