HI everyone,
I have downloaded Fedora-16-i386-DVD.iso(not the live version) and I created a Live USB with it using Fedora live USB creator software.but when I boot it just shows a black screen with a cursor(I've made the usb as the first boot device).I tried to copy the files using dd command too but still no luck.Can somebody please tell me the reason for this?
My pen drive is 4GB and the iso file size is around 3.71.
PS: I've read all the Fedora manuals on booting from USB and they also didn't help.So pointing me to any of those manuals will not be of any help.

Have you tried using the actual live-cd version from the Fedora site?

No, I haven't done that but the Fedora manuals that I read say that even the non-Live versions can be used to make a bootable USB.You know the iso file is around 4 GB and having to download the Live version again would be bit of a pain.
