Unhappy Having Audio issues with my Sony Viao Desktop

My OS is Debian Lenny KDE. I have a Sony Viao VGC-RC110G Desktop with a HDA Intel Sound card, it also has a Tv tuner and built-in surround sound card.

I know the system does work well I was using it with WiN Vista but because of the hardware requirements to run Vista it would lock up about 20 minutes into use. Now I have installed Lenny...Wonderful! unfortunately I am having issues getting the sound card and the TV tuner to work. I am used to using ubuntu but I didn't like the hastles I had with the new 9.04. I have only tried basic trouble shooting and am not sure what steps to take in Debian. I do appreciate any insight in this issue thank you for your time.
