I am using SUSE 10.1 on my Acer-laptop (xp-dualboot) and I’m very pleased about it. I don’t think there is anything that xp can do what SUSE 10.1 can’t (Probably someone can tell me
but I haven’t found them myself for what I need). You could give SUSE a try. SUSE is bit bloated so it can run a little slow. I’ve got another laptop (older. medion; PIII 600Mhz, 192ram, 5 gigs HD) and I tried PClinuxOS and Kubuntu(still running) and was please with both. I am going to try Mepis 6.0, I heard a lot of good things about this distro.
