Hardware configuration timeout
 

Hi guys,
I would like to ask if someone can help me in this...
Im new and learn how to use Red Hat Enterprise 4 but im facing some difficulties..
When the linux boot, when it comes to detecting new hardware...it appear msg below :

" Hardware configuration timeout. Run /usr/sbin/kudzu ....... Failed"

Can any experts explain why this happen, cause and how to solve this problem? Thank You.

It is important that you show the exact error messages. If you modify it, it makes it difficult for other to search for help for you, and you are doing yourself a disservice.

The rest of the message, if I am correct, says something about running kuzdu from the command line, right?

Have you done that?

Go into single-user mode, and run /usr/sbin/kudzu from the command line.
