Handfull of Newbie Questions..
 

Alrighty then, I've got a couple basic questions, if anyone knows a thread that they've been answered in then just point me there, but I've searched already and haven't found any that totally answered my questions.. By the way, I'm running RH 7.2, KDE enviro..

1. After dl a tgz file, basically an application (ccmsn to be exact) what should be my next step, unarchive it? If so where would I do that, in my home dir? Or does it matter?

2. Is it possible to access files on my FAT drives, I have a partition with a load of mp3's on it, and would like to be able to access it.

3. What is the best web browser for Linux right now? Guess I'd be looking for a thread or something, I'm sure it's out there..

Any help on these topics would be greatly apprcieated..
