Halflife server won't go secure!

My server fails to download the security module from speakeasy.net and won't go secure. Does anyone know how to fix this? I had this problem once before but it seemed to fix itself......

??
you can't download => check your/remote ineternet connection

"won't go secure" what do you mean by that?

Try going with the IP's instead of the names of the won network. I know this works with the client.

version 2056 security

In version 2056 it downloads a security thing for the server each time you run it. But mine doesnt download it so my server is insecure. But i can access the internet fine. The only difference i noticed is it shows my ip as 127.0.0.0 before(when it worked) it didnt show my ip.

I get a similar problem

Right now i am trying to run a private LAN server for CS, DoD and Firearms. Everything is setup and at first ran beautifully. I decided to create a script to run the server so that it wasn't a royal pain in the butt. I created the script but now the server will not run. It goes through the regular motions but once it hits the speakeasy.net part it fails to dl the security module (obviously because i have no outside connection) and than says it can't execute two files : listip.conf (i think that's it) and bannedip.conf (again i think (doing this at work without the terminal in front of me)). After this it just sits there and does nothing. If i type status or users it just replies that the server is not connected. Should I try making those files...or is there a setting i need to add onto the command line?
thanks for any help on this
