HAL deamon
 
When in the process of installaton and asked to reboot the system display a failure on HAL deamon. Does this error detect the mouse in the ststem. The mouse pointer disappears as I get

what are yiou trying to install ? Is it windows or linux. there is nothing on this post that could help annyone understand what is going on. Can you please provide details if it is possible ;)

You do need to include detailed information so we can aid in the diagnosis of the problem.
