Guys,I am facing problems in browsing internet in my Ubuntu 11.04 version.

Actually,I want to install some updates and plugins fo Ubuntu, but that requires an internet connection.I have Samsung Star 3 duos and a net activated sim.How can I install the Ubuntu version of Samsung Kies to browse internet?

As far as I am aware there is no Linux version of Samsung Kies.

Your other problem will be that Ubuntu 11.04 is either at End Of Life (EOL) or very close to it so you will not be able to update Ubuntu 11.04 anymore anyway. My recommendation would be to update to the current supported versions of Ubuntu or even try Debian 6.

Type #uname -a and check out the version of OPS you are running .You're running ubuntu 11.04 .you have to upgrade you OPS to ubuntu 12.04 LTS latest release (which provide you support till April 2017 ) .

If you decide to upgrade your Ubuntu installation to 12.04 LTS, I think you will have to first upgrade to 11.10 before going to 12.04. The advantage of the LTS version is that you won't have to upgrade again until the next LTS some years hence, unless you want to.

No no no. Don't go and upgrade twice, that is silly and doubles your downloads. Simply download a 12.04 CD and install from that.
