I am trying to convert an stl file into gts format and keep getting the following error:

[root@meln10301 Desktop]# stl2gts < cylinder1.stl > cylinder1.gts

(process:3735): Gts-CRITICAL **: gts_kdtree_new: assertion `points->len > 0' failed

(process:3735): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_node_destroy: assertion `root != NULL' failed

Anyone have any ideas how to fix it? Have no idea what to do and would really apreciate the help!!
