GTK problem: no text in widgets
 

hello there,

i have suse 9.0, gtk 1.2.10, gtk2 2.2.3, kde 3.1.4 if this is important, but under another wm i got same problem.
my problem is that i cannot see any text in gtk2 programs. this means no text on widgets, menus, message boxes, text boxes, etc.

gimp-1.2 is for example fine, but
gimp-1.3 shows no text at all, see screenshot.

anyone ever seen this?
