gtk devel
 

I'm trying to configure the GUI for MPlayer. The process doesn't complete, it produces the message "Error: The GUI requires GTK devel packages (which were not found)."
Where do I get these packages from? I had a look through aptitude and didn't fid anything that looked relevant to me.

Have you searched for *gtk-dev, gtk1.2-dev and gtk2.0-dev ? There should be bucket loads of them...
