Gtk


I have been tring hard to avoid posting about this error cause i know its been posted a few times and i sure hope someone can help me out, anyways.. im tring to install wxPython and all it does is give me errors left and right i have gtk installed correct cause i just installed xchat and gaim and it whent along fine... im on slackware9.1

Please check that gtk-config is in path, the directory
where GTK+ libraries are installed (returned by
'gtk-config --libs' command) is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH or
equivalent variable and GTK+ is version 1.2.3 or above.
installed latest gtk/pango/atk etc this is the only program thats not going through arg!!

Some easy way:
Download a RPM package, then use the command rpm2tgz to convert it to slack pack.

geez thanx i didnt know i was able to do that with wxPython, heh something new i learned.. thanx Linux.tar.gz
