gtalk in ubuntu 11.10
 
hi,
i installed the gtalk in ubuntu 11.10,but i din't find how to run it.
when i installed the gtalk then it downloaded in the download folder.
when i doubble-clicked on the gtalk item in downloaded folder it appears installed with grenn color tick mark.


how can i use it?????

Some google apps either aren't ready for prime time wrt 64 computing or require multi-lib installs.

You may want to start searching there and see if there are any issues, depending upon what architecture you're hardware platform and OS are - meaning that, you might need 32bit and 64 bit libraries in /usr/lib and /usr/lib64, or....

perhaps when you didn't actually download this application using something akin to:

# apt-get install -y gtalk
or use sudu to do that, since I see you're running sudolinux ;)

You can't just download and wynd0z3 executable and run it natively on UNIX.
