grub2 moving back


Hi I installed rivendell ubuntu which is based on Lucid lts. But its grub 2 has taken over

I have run sudo grub-update removed grub2 from the lts and still it wants to boot off the lts drive

How do I sda1 to be boot drive again.

Easy really, unstall everything related to grub2 running after you have booted the partion you want grub to be on.

-> sda1 / regular workday ubuntu
-> sdc1 / revendell also grub

Uninstall grub2 from sda1 then reinstall and it works again, simples!
