LinuxQuestions.org - grub repair on laptop ( which has Windows XP + Fedora Core 6)

Greetings all,

Yesterday night I tried installing FreeBSD on my laptop (Compaq running on AMD Turion 64).
It already has Windows XP and Fedora Core6 which is working fine.
I didn't get much far in FreeBSD installation, I quit in the middle at a safe place without comitting any changes I made.

But after this when I reboot my machine I'm getting this grub prompt

Today I got the Fedore rescue cd and rebooted my machine with that.
I google'd for the grub repair but nothing worked out..

After getting the shell from rescue cd (before doing 'chroot '/mnt/sysimage')
if I give 'fdisk -l'
This is what I'm getting

Earlier when the system was working fine, I used to have C:, D:(CD DRIVE), E:, F: drives in windows and two partitions in Fedora.

Can anyone share their experiences if you have encountered similar problem.
