GRUB problem after each win98 boot
I have experienced following - weird or perhaps trivial - problem
with my dual boot system where I have win98 on my first disk
and slackware on my second.
Each time after I have booted win98 (successfully from GRUB)
and later try to boot linux, the filesystem type type have changed from linux and linux swap (82, 83) to amoeba (92,93) and
naturally GRUB fails to boot linux.
After rebooting with a floppy and changing the filesystem type back to linux and linux swap again, I can boot into linux as before.
But if I boot win98 this pattern keeps on repeating.
Whats going on ?
Here's my grub.conf
kernel (hd1,1)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb2
