grub Kubuntu and Ubuntu no keyboard

I loaded Kubuntu to dual boot in a Ubuntu machine. All went very well. I installed Kubuntu on the slave drive but I have one small problem with the installation. when grub starts up it doesn't SEE my keyboard so I have no way of using the up and down arrows. Has anyone seen this happen before or tell me where to look to solve the problem. tm

Yup. I forgot to change the BIOS settings when I switched to a USB keyboard and mouse.
