Grub, Kmag, Evoluation questions

Hi.

I have recently installed Fedora Ccore 2 on my wife's machine (first one I've done) and trying to get everything she wants setup and running.

Managed (after a LOT of googling around) to get network shares, printer working, have switched it to KDE fixed the log out problem.

Found forums (this one) very useful, but I can't find answers to the following, and I was hoping someone could point me in the riht direction.

Firstly Grub, I would like to change the colour of the grub menu so that its more visible. I read the manual which told me to use color which I did, but had no effect, did I miss a step, problem is dark grey on black isn't very visiable.

Kmag, ok both myself and my wife are visually impaired, we use Lunar in Windows, of course this isn't available in linux, so looking for an alternative, the only one I could find in RPM format was Kmag, but when I tried to install it, I got about 10 dependincy errors, now before I go any futher, has anyone got this program to work, or have any alternatives? Or again have I missed something obvious, I have searched YUM for the product but its not listed. I must admit I'm not very confident installing applications outside of YUM.

Lastly Ifor this post anyay) we chose Evoluation for the mail client, as it looked similar to Outlook and had some cool features, was a bit of a struggle getting the mail to inport, (used Mozilla mail to export and then it would read it) but having problems importing contacts, seems it will only import vCards, one at a time, this will take me forever and I was just wondering if there was a quicker way to import our contacts.

If I can get these 3 issues sorted I would be very happy and grateful.

Regards

Lee

Hi

Sorry is there a problem in the way I've asked the question, should I have broken them into deifferent threads? If I've done something wrong let me know.

I have found out that Fedorda Core 2 doesn't come with the latest KDE as I thought it did, Kaccessibility is in 3.2.3 and I have 3.2.2 but YUM isn't listing KDE 3.2.3 as an upgrade so still a bit stuck.

If anyone could spare some time to answer my queries, I'd be very grateful.

Regards

Lee

Well as I hate to leave a topic unfinished, I thought I'd post an update if anyone is interested.

1, Grub screen colour, not resolved, guess I'll have to put up with it.

2, Kmag, upgraded to KDE 3.2.3 which had the accessibility pack but Kmag didn't live up to expectations, though its not bad for general use, just going to have to increase font sizes and lower the screen res, unless anyone else has any other suggestions?

3, Evolution, well this email client just isn't compatable with anything, almost as closed as micro$oft, will not import any format of use, so ditched that idea and gone for Kmail, at least that can import CSV's!

See ya.
