Grub in my refit menu?

I have a 2011 Macbook pro on which I'm running Lion, Win7 and Scientific Linux. Sometime during the install process a new icon appeared in my refit menu and its for the grub boot loader...it says /efi/redhat/grub.efi under the icon when I hover over it.

Now I told my scientific linux to install grub to the same partition as itself and not the MBR so I find it weird to see it there. What is the grub icon I'm seeing? How can I remove it?

So I have located the file, it is /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.efi

What is this file?

If I just delete it will it go away from my refit?
