Question grub can't find CentOS 7

My desktop was tri-booting between Ubuntu 2.04, CentOS 6, and Windows. I installed CentOS 7 in the space that CentOS 6 used, but update-grub doesn't result in the new CentOS showing up. I can only think there's some issue with the version or the way LVM is used by CentOS 7 that Ubntu doesn't agree with. Any thoughts?

ETA: CentOS 7 uses grub2 I just needed to boot to rescue mode and install grub2 to my boot disk, and all is well!

Probably the best thing to do to get enough information for someone to assist you is to boot Ubuntu, go to the site below and get the boot repair software and run it. Just select the option to "Create BootInfo summary" and do not try to make any repairs. Post a link to the output here.

Hi:

Running this script may come in handy. It will produce a file called 'RESULTS.txt' and searches all hard drives on a pc for information related to booting.
