If you're talking about general shell stuff, have a look at the advanced bash scripting guide and http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz.

Are you also going to be running mail, web, database (and other) daemons?

Actually i am trying to set my linux knowledge a strong skill for me.In this step i have been doing shell scripting and other commands in linux. But i think instead of doing wastage of time if i take suggestions
from experts that what should i learn then it is quite a good and worthy thing.
