good reference material

ok, i'm slowly learning linux, but need some reference material. i'm using fedora 3. most of the books i've looked at aren't very well written. anybody know of a good newbie/intro to linux book that's easy to read and understand?

There are a number of them out there - check our Book Reviews. O'Reilly books are well written and popular.

I'd recommend Linux for non-Geeks and Linux Desktop Garage. I just read them yesterday. They're excellent for beginners.
