Good, Linux Friendly Laptops/Laptop Companies

Not really sure to put this as I'm new here, so sorry if it's the wrong place.

Well, I was going to get the new Ubuntu-approved Dell but then they removed long term support and complete care from it. I normally deal with my computer problems myself but I need a laptop for college and I can't afford anything to go wrong. If something breaks then I need it fixed asap.

I'll need to run Ubuntu, Fedora Core and Windows XP (The computers at the college dual boot Fedora Core and XP). It will mainly be for school work but it would be nice to play some games, Halo, Command and Conquer 3, WoW etc. Not a necessity though.

So, what are some good computer companies to get Linux friendly laptops?

I like IBM :)
...and got the Lenovo Thinkpad T60 and I'm happy with it. Everything works nicely on it and it has nice hardware switches so it works even on OpenBSD.

http://www.linuxcertified.com will put linux on the machine, and tell you how they did it. They have one model that will run Ubuntu, OpenSuSE, Debian Etch, and FC6. It starts at about $750.00, and increases from there. You will want core duo and about 1 Gb of ram to run linux well. (Model lc2210dc)
