Good FAQ/Book for Linux Beginners?


Is there a good FAQ or book that's recommended that explains the basic workings of Linux? Like the directory structure, where and what the system files are and do, how it "sees" devices. I'm grew up in the DOS days so I'm familiar with a command prompt, batch files, drive letters, etc. It'd be great if there was something that explains Linux from a DOS user's point of view.
