GNURadio Companion issue

I was trying to gedit an output text file from a 'file sink' block in GNU Radio Companion but there was an error 'Failed to register: Timeout was reached'. Please assist this issue. Thanks,
bangabe

it seems that in 4 days nobody has answered - maybe because only someone who uses gnuradio-companion can understand your question?
so i suggest that you rephrase it
a) in a way that other linux users can understand it
b) providing much more relevant information
please read the first link in my signature.

also, how do you "gedit" a text file? what does it mean?
