gnu


i have just downloaded a copy of gnu linux,i started the pc,it booted i can see the files in a dos like window but not sure where to take it from there,i get a DR DOS,text,but how do i install it onto a harddisk,thanks

Which distro are you using? Also, please use more helpful thread titles in future.

the version is GNUSTEP i386 0.9.4.2 iso, thanks

According to this page, you have to run "sudo su" followed by "morphixinstaller". I'm not sure this is actually a distribution though, some of the stuff I've read on GNUstep.org has lead me to the conclusion that you need a distro installed to be able to use it (and they support Debian).

Out of curosity, is this the first linux distribution you are tryingÉ. If it is and you wanna try something easier, try this:
