GnomeUI-WARNING

when i used gedit to open my yum.conf i recieve the following error
Code:
(gedit:3693): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
gedit still opens the file but i get that error. is it anything serious?
