Question Gnome starting issues. :(

I just re-installed mandrake on my dualbooted xp box. And I only installed Gnome because KDE is asshole. Now for some reason I cant get gnome to start through the command line. I do gnome-wm and it allways gives me the error "Window Manager Error: Unable to open X display" Well i suck so anyhelp would own.

If you want to stick with gnome, a good place to go is:

http://art.gnome.org/

They've plenty of nice stuff in there, as themes and sounds . It has been a long time since I last used Gnome, but it was a great place before

My pleasure mate . I wish I had gnome installed to help you out, but most likely somebody will see this and drop a message. This is a very active forum

Good luck!
