Gnome Start Error

Hi everyone! I am using MDK 10 Official. When I start the system with Gnome, a box appears and it says you should add dhcppc6 to /etc/hosts ... At the bottom of the message box, there are two options (Login anyway and Try again)... What does this error mean?
Thanks a lot!

please post your /etc/hosts file...

this might be as simple as adding "dhcppc6" as an alias for 127.0.0.1...

it might need to look something like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost dhcppc6

try making it like this and then restart:

127.0.0.1 localhost dhcppc6

that should do it...
