Gnome programs on KDE (good or bad?)
I want to use Gaim, and gFtp, and maybe a few other gnome programs like bluefish. I do not have gnome installed. I am wondering if the stability will be lowered any because I use a gnome program on kde. I know the performance will be lower because kde programs intergrate well, but it is only a few..

Shouldn't affect stability ... unless either of them (KDE
or Gnome) are unstable by themselves ;) ... You may find that you'll have to install a flock of Gnome libraries, though, for them to work... Cheers, Tink |
