gnome-look.org download problem!

This is kind of a stupid question. So i'm at the gnome-look.org site and i want to get some cool themes. So i choose one but when i try to click on the "dowload" button, nothing happens. Seems only the page reloads but i can't save or download anything. I even registered on the site. What am I doing wrong and how can I download any content on the mentioned site?

Can you link to a specific example of a page where download doesn't work? It could be that that particular theme/wallpaper/icon set is just down.

Solved the problem.

When I clicked on any link that should bring up a message asking where i wanted a file downloaded, nothing would happen. So i simply reinstalled firefox, and now it works.

apparently this is a firefox problem. I have a version 1.0.4 the "newest" according to apt-get tool. I keep on getting this problem where if i click on a dowloadable file I get no pop-up box telling me to save. After i reinstall firefox, everything works good for a while, but then goes back to this problem. Anyone know a fix for this firefox bug?

hmm, that sounds really strange. in "Tools", "Options", "Downloads" try setting the "Download Folder" to "Ask me every time"

just tried that, and still no luck, this is very frustrating, as i don't want to reinstall each time the problem occurs. I usually do "Save as" but on some links (.php) i will only save the .php file, maybe this is some kind of script problem?
