This is kind of a stupid question. So i'm at the gnome-look.org site and i want to get some cool themes. So i choose one but when i try to click on the "dowload" button, nothing happens. Seems only the page reloads but i can't save or download anything. I even registered on the site. What am I doing wrong and how can I download any content on the mentioned site?
When I clicked on any link that should bring up a message asking where i wanted a file downloaded, nothing would happen. So i simply reinstalled firefox, and now it works.
apparently this is a firefox problem. I have a version 1.0.4 the "newest" according to apt-get tool. I keep on getting this problem where if i click on a dowloadable file I get no pop-up box telling me to save. After i reinstall firefox, everything works good for a while, but then goes back to this problem. Anyone know a fix for this firefox bug?
just tried that, and still no luck, this is very frustrating, as i don't want to reinstall each time the problem occurs. I usually do "Save as" but on some links (.php) i will only save the .php file, maybe this is some kind of script problem?
