gnome lock screen/log out icons

I don't know why... but for some reason the Lock Screen and Log Out icons appear as a white sheet with a red X over them. I changed my icon theme but I tried changing it back which didn't do anything to fix it. Any way to fix this?

Come on... isn't there an XML file or some kind of configuration file where I could just change a filename or something?
