ok I did xorgconfig, and got mouse errors.

i did Xorg -configure

and I got mouse errors. so I put in knoppix and this is my Xorg file.

now I realize this is XF86Config not Xorg. so will the video/mouse settings work in the Xorg? Is there a difference?

If it will work, how can i get these setting to the "real" /etc/X11/xorg.conf ? Please help I am so close.
