LinuxQuestions.org - GNOME Commander: Cannot write to 2nd disk

Hi there

hmm, hope somebody already solved this one. Coming from XP (never again ;-) I did love Norton Commander and later Total commander. Now found GNOME Commander and I'm happy about that. The problem I'm facing now is it gives me a strange error when I try to write to my new second drive.

"The directory 'Dance' doesnt exist. do you want to create it?" (mount point for the drive is /media/Dance).

when I press 'yes', i get the message 'File not found'. :cry:

I can copy files with with nautilus or pcman filemanager.:scratch:

ls -l says:

Had some problem getting the drive up and running, so I'm not sure if I did something wrong. but as the problem only exists in gnome commander, I guess there might be a bug...

ps. I happy to change to another norton commander like file manager if anybody knows of a better one ;-)
