Gnome-cd : no devices

Hello Friends,

I always look for existing answers before bothering others,
but this time I can't find the correct answer.

I am a linux newbie using Debian Sarge x Gnome.

In my machine there is a dvdrw and a dvdrom.
Using Gnomebaker I can copy cds succesfully.
Playing MP3's, no problem.

When I start Gome-cd, it just says "CD player error".
In the list where a the devices are shown, there is no
device lsited, consequently, I cannot select a cd device.
why is this list empty, and why does Gnome-cd give an error ?
Is there any configuration tool or file in which I
can specify the devices to use ?

A a little other question, how can I copy cds on the fly
using Gnomebaker 0.5.0 ?

Thanks in advance,

Bruno
