Can you log in single user mode?

This can help all parties troubleshoot the issue. You need to be able to see the reason the system gives for the login failure.

I've not used fedora, but I'm fairly sure its a redhat styled layout. Check /var/log/gdm for error messages. To be safe it never hurts to look over /var/log/messages as well. If you see an error that relates to the issue, post it here.

Try and create a fresh log for your browsing, as in try to log into the failing desktop and then log in single user mode. Kepe track of your times so you know where to look in your logs.

Not a solution by my own experiece.

I had enough issues with 15 that I abandoned it and went back to 14 because of Xfce problems and such. It also needed a gigs worth of updates so I just look at it as a bad release and I'll wait for 16 to come out. It may be weird but I keep more than one distro on the same computer so if one goes to hell it's not a big deal. I had errors listed in the boot log as well.:twocents:

Given that Fedora is RH's R&D distro and basically not reqd to be stable, I'm not surprised. If its important to you, try a more stable option eg Centos; can be used as a desktop as well as server.

tanx for the reply, i check that and i got this:

(gnome-settings-daemon:2188): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
g_dbus_connection_real_closed: Remote peer vanished with error: Underlying GIOStream returned 0 bytes on an async read (g-io-error-quark, 0). Exiting.
