gnome and kde
I have installed debian 6 and after installation there was only command line mode visible to me. then I installed gnome and everything is fine now.
my question is that I heared that kde is more better in look than gnome. is it better for me if I install kde? will installed software of gnome will also work in kde? how can I install kde? after installation will gnome will get removed or not? |
Only you can decide if Gnome or KDE are better for you. Just install and test it.
You can use KDE software in Gnome and Gnome software in KDE without a problem. Gnome will not be removed if you install KDE, you can choose which one you want to use at the login screen. To install KDE in Debian 6 launch this command as root: Code:
apt-get install kde-full |
