glib-2.4.0 make errors... :-(


How do I solve this one? I have googled and searched all day and nothing seems to be working.

$ make

This will be a guess, but this line:

gcc: dependencies/glib-2.4.0/gobject/.libs/9153-lt-glib-genmarshal: No such file or directory
....seems to indicate that some part of the Makefile cannot cope with spaces in the filename since the path is incomplete ("gtkpod ", and possibly the full leading path, left out). Try renaming the directory to something else - without spaces. Also, glib-2.4.0 is considered a bit buggy. The preferred stable version now is 2.4.5.
