hello friends

I am using the squid as a proxy server

I will try to set block some site using proxy server.

I all ready configure the squid but when i set the proxy in my browser at that time can not open any site. Set only ip and port. I set the port and all site is block.

When i remove the proxy setting in browser after that all site is open.

After browser setting i run the and site in browser one message is fire like.

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.gmail.com/

The following error was encountered:

* Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

Your cache administrator is webmaster.
Generated Wed, 02 Apr 2008 12:33:57 GMT by debian (squid/2.6.STABLE5)

please use better thread titles in future, and also provide us with enough useful information to help... all we can say from that is that the configuration is denying access, and that's potentially wholly by design... we can't see the config so can't comment on it.
