Github

Okay, so I'm trying to download a programme by NVIDIA called digits. Someone has informed me that I can use GitHub to get the download link, can anyone confirm?

I think this is how I downloaded the html page earlier, assuming it was the programme... led to many difficulties...

as in... how does GitHub work exactly?
Don't worry I'm trying to google too, but it's a lot of dense information...

Can I type some commands into the command line to get the file I want?
