GIMP Photo Software


Hello, Could someone tell me how to rotate an image on GIMP? Now You can rotate it 90 180 etc but I would like to rotate the image to level the shot.

Hello,

You need to go to Tools -> Transform -> Rotate. From there, you can rotate the image by degrees, angle, etc. Hope that helps man!

You should have a look at this free book about GIMP, it may help you with your questions.

MeettheGIMP has great video tutorials. Just watching the first three or four will make you feel like an expert.

Martin, go to the GIMP web site and check out all the free documentation. There is a full book, "Grokking The GIMP" which is html but if you use Firefox, there is an addon called PrinttoPDF. It works great and it will send to any directory on your machine. From there you can use Adobe Reader or any of the great free PDF readers on Linux to read it. Get through that and you will be a GIMP guru.
